Kallisto comes from the Greek language, meaning "Most Beautiful One" Maine Coons, being the largest domestic breed of cat, and as we feel, the most beautiful of cats are certainly deserving of this name.

We are a small in home cattery breeding Maine Coon cats in Burlington, Ontario, just west of Toronto.

Being involved in the Dog world for over 25 years, my love for showing and owning Great Danes spilled over into the cat fancy. Owning my first Maine Coon back in 1986, my love for this wonderful breed has brought us to where we are today. Our cattery was registered with CFA, CCA, and TICA in 2004 and we continue to enjoy our Gentle Giants.

Our cats grow up underfoot with our Great Danes and Feline Rescues and our breeding cats and alters have full run of the house. All our breeding cats are echocardiogram tested by a certified Cardiologist and are DNA tested as well.

Although we enjoy showing our wonderful cats, first and foremost is our desire to produce happy, healthy, well socialized kittens who become the best companions for their new families.

We would like to thank Marg and Neil Baird of Hibou Cats who had some faith in us and helped us to get started, but more importantly have become great friends. We are also grateful for the wonderful people who have become our friends over the years.
